This 7-minute clip is a fascinating teaser for Hurston's fieldwork. None of the clips are identified by metadata about where or when they were shot, nor by who appears in them. The IA metadata claims 1928 for this, but that has no source; and someone added a soundtrack to the silent film. The Library of Congress claims to have digitized 43 minutes of her original film (
